Porter Appointed GM for Radio Holland

Imtech Marine has appointed Peter Porter as General Manager for Imtech Marine Belgium, also known as Radio Holland, per October 1, 2015.

Porter will succeed Frans Ploegaert, who has started in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, as Director Middle East and India.

Porter started at sea as Deck Officer and has since 1989 further developed his career ashore. He worked, amongst other things, as Operations and Capacity Manager Container Trades at CMB N.V – CMBT N.V. and as Fleet and Operations Director at Safmarine Container Lines.

In 2012 he started his own shipping consultancy company Antwerp Ship Partners. As consultant he took on assignments amongst others as Product Manager at Odense Maritime Technology and as Country Manager at Alphatron Marine.
