Broward County’s Port Everglades is closed to all ship and truck traffic as the potential category 4 or 5 Hurricane Matthew approaches the U.S. East Coast.

The port will reopen after the storm once all safety and security protocols are in place and approved by the U.S. Coast Guard Captain of the Port, in conjunction with the Strategic Weather Advisory Team.
