Consolidated Chassis Management, LLC (CCM) has announced that effective October 1, Jon Poelma has been promoted to President and Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Poelma joined CCM in early 2012 as Senior Vice President of Operations, with over 20 years in the intermodal and port drayage industry. Poelma will retain his title as COO of CCM, a role he’s held since 2015, and continue to oversee CCM’s operations. As President, he will work closely on strategic planning and business development with the CCM Board.

The corporate title is designed to recognize Poelma’s success as the head of CCM, notably continuing to develop CCM’s position in service‐oriented chassis pool management which is essential to support the supply chain.

CCM manages six regional chassis pools containing over 130,000 intermodal chassis at 300 U.S. rail and port intermodal locations across the U.S. CCM is a subsidiary of the Ocean Carrier Equipment Management Association (OCEMA). CCM Pools are the only chassis pools in the United States offering motor carriers and beneficial cargo owners the opportunity to select the intermodal equipment provider of their choice.
