The ship's officers & crew 'Man the Ship' during the commissioning ceremony of the Arleigh-Burke class destroyer 'USS Michael Murphy' (DDG 112).

The commissioning ceremony was in New York.

Murphy is named after Lt. Michael Murphy, a Navy SEAL and Medal of Honor recipient who posthumously received the nation's highest military honor for bravery during combat in Afghanistan in 2005.
