WSP|Parsons Brinckerhoff Names Kennedy Maritime Manager

Daniel Kennedy is named maritime manager in New England for WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, a global engineering and professional services organization.

In his new position, Kennedy will manage maritime consulting operations throughout New England, responsible for business development, marketing and project execution. Based in the Boston office, he will provide oversight, management, design and coordination services for major projects involving port and marine facilities.

Kennedy has extensive domestic and international experience in the management of both large and small marine-related engineering projects. He is experienced as a civil engineer, professional engineer-diver, project manager and construction manager for planning, design and construction of various types of waterfront structures, shoreline protection/stabilization, breakwaters, floating structures, beaches, and island formation projects. Prior to joining WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, he was stationed in Dubai, UAE as the head of the ports and terminals group and thereafter the lead of the New England maritime practice for a prominent international engineering firm."

A licensed professional engineer in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut and Virginia, Kennedy received a B.S. in civil engineering from Northwestern University. He is a member of the Society of American Military Engineers and the Project Management Institute.
