National Waterways Foundation Elects Mecklenborg as Chairman

At its November 15, 2016 meeting in Cincinnati, the National Waterways Foundation (NWF) elected the following Trustees and Officers.

Trustees:
Dan Mecklenborg, Senior Vice President, Chief Legal Officer and Secretary, Ingram Barge Company, was elected Chairman.  He succeeds Mark Knoy, President and Chief Executive Officer, American Commercial Barge Line, who remains on the Foundation as Immediate Past-Chairman.

Tom Allegretti, President and Chief Operating Officer, American Waterways Operators
Cherrie Felder, Vice President, Channel Shipyard Companies
Jake Haulk, Researcher
Michael Hennessey, Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Brownsville Marine Products
Rob Innis, Director, Transportation Operations, LafargeHolcim
Merritt Lane, President and Chief Executive Officer, Canal Barge Company
Nelson Spencer, Chairman, The Waterways Journal
Peter Stephaich, Chief Executive Officer, Campbell Transportation Company
Officers:
Michael Toohey, President and CEO, Waterways Council, Inc., was named Foundation President.  
Matt Woodruff, Director, Public and Government Affairs, Kirby Corporation, Kirby Corporation, was elected as Treasurer of the Foundation.
Debra Calhoun, Senior Vice President, Waterways Council, Inc., was named Secretary.
