CMR Names Benhadid MD in Tunisia

CMR Group, the global Instrumentation Control and Automation specialists on energy, industry and marine, has appointed Zineddine Benhadid to lead its Tunisia manufacturing operation and oversee the development of its activities across the Region, meeting the growing demand for its advanced engine wiring harnesses, temperature sensors and integrated control system solutions.

With extensive manufacturing and management experience gained at several groups, including Valeo, Asteelflash, and Cofitel, Zineddine Benhadid will manage the 340-strong team at CMR facility in Tunis. New investment will also equip the Tunis workforce with the prototyping and manufacturing skills to meet the demands of new energy technologies and reciprocating machinery.

Benhadid said, “The future’s looking bright, and we are investing in the best resources and reorganizing the business, to secure long-term efficiencies and high production volumes for the future.”

Benhadid takes over from Lassaad Ketata, who steps-up to a new role as Group manufacturing leader and will focus on overseeing the production transference on CMR’s Tunisia, India and China sites.
