MICT Wins ‘Container Terminal of the Year’ Award

Mundra International Container Terminal (MICT) received the Gateway Award for Container Terminal of the Year in recognition of its performance, operational excellence, growth in throughput and breaking the one-million-TEU mark.

The award was received by Tejas Nataraj CEO MICT, in the presence of a distinguished gathering of business leaders at the Eight Annual Gateway Awards presentation Ceremony held at The Lalit, Mumbai.

Speaking on the occasion, Anil Singh, Senior Vice President and Managing Director Subcontinent, DP World, said, “At DP World, we have always strived to be ahead of the curve by offering the best services and facilities. We consider this award as an acknowledgement of our efforts in making MICT a world-class container terminal, and it inspires us to set higher standards in the industry.”

Further commenting on the award, Tejas Nataraj, Chief Executive Officer, MICT said, “We feel privileged with this accolade given by the Gateway Awards. At MICT, our always endeavor to increase our operational efficiency and constantly invest in infrastructure, equipment, technology and training to ensure a fast turnaround of vessels.
