REC Miami Open after Flood Damage

Regional Exam Center Miami Operational Status The Regional Exam Center (REC) in Miami recently sustained some minor damage due to flooding on Sunday , February 9th.

A fire in the Claude Pepper Federal Building on a floor above the REC caused the fire sprinkler system to be set off.

The REC was temporarily closed, however, it will be open on Tuesday, February 18 at 8 a.m. for testing only. The REC anticipates reopening for all customers and full services on Thursday, February 20 at 8 a.m. If you recently submitted an application or other paperwork via mail, nothing was lost during the flooding and everything was recoverable.
