The Maritime Association of South Carolina (MASC) contracts the Mariner Group's system for its port & stakeholder securtiy & operations management.

CommandBridge™ has been choses as the cornerstone of MASC's Maritime Command and Control & Situational Awareness project.

MASC has been actively promoting the interests of the Port of Charleston since 1926. In 2009, in recognition of the fact that businesses throughout South Carolina use and rely on the services of the state's ports, MAPCHA changed its name to the Maritime Association of South Carolina (MASC) to more accurately reflect its purpose and scope. MASC encompasses persons, firms, associations, government agencies and corporations who have an interest in the progress and prosperity of South Carolina's ports - especially with respect to shipping and commerce, both foreign and domestic.

"Mariner is very proud to have been selected by MASC for this important project," said Steve Dryden , Mariner's President & CEO. "Mariner headquarters are located in South Carolina and our CommandBridge software suite leads the industry in delivering security, situational awareness and response capabilities. We are honored to deliver this advanced technology for our neighbors in Charleston."

"Mariner was selected for this project after MASC evaluated a number of other products," said Denver Merrill , Maritime Association of South Carolina Vice President. "We believe that Mariner's CommandBridge system is the right fit for our member organizations and the Port of Charleston's security and operational needs for the future."

"Mariner's CommandBridge software suite continues to set the standard within the maritime security and public safety system integration industry today," said Mariner's Senior Vice President for Business Development, Erin Phelps . "CommandBridge situational awareness has evolved to deliver real-time dynamic mobile sensor tracking, processing and on-the-fly geo-fencing of land, air and sea mobile assets for maritime and coastal domain awareness needs throughout the United States.
