Marine Services Provider ISS Appoints New GM for Brazil

Inchcape Shipping Services appoints new General Manager for Brazil, Capt. Mariano Martinoia. 

Capt. Martinoia will be based in Rio de Janeiro, at the company’s head office for Brazil.  He will be responsible for managing ISS’ nine Brazilian offices which cover all the country’s ports.

A graduate of the Argentinean Merchant Navy, Mariano served as Captain for 10 years. His experience includes working for Maruba Line as an operator developing regional expertise in USA, the Orient and South America in the handling of container, breakbulk cargoes and bulk carriers. 

Mariano also has experience in boat operations when he served on the gas supply platform, Merluzaat Shell for Tidewater. Prior to joining Inchcape Shipping Services he spent 18 years with Gearbulk in Brazil, working in different ports and positions, including his most recent role as Operations Manager.  His primary expertise includes vessels and port operations, procurement, import and export operations, port & terminals, supply chain and logistics.
