Organizational announcement -  NAM Marine - Regional Energy Solutions Manager.


Energy efficiency is recognized as a global mandate by governments, maritime organizations & business, and has become a key driver of growth for ABB Marine & Cranes. Opportunities in energy efficiency increasingly require that we offer our clients innovative solutions combining ABB products and other elements from across the marine industry.  ABB Marine & Cranes BU has organized a worldwide Marine Energy Services group and as part of this global initiative, they have announced that Eric W. Schreiber is appointed Regional Energy Solutions Manager, North America. In this role, together with the global team, Eric will develop the business and capture opportunities in this important growth area.


Eric joined ABB in 2010 and he has over 17 years of combined experience in the Marine Industry. He has regulatory insight from his various appointments at Lloyd's Register, operational point of view gained while at Royal Caribbean Cruises, Ltd. and business development feel acquired since joining ABB Marine Services.  Eric has a BSc. in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Power Engineering from Northeastern University, College of Engineering, a MBA from the University of Miami, School of Business, and numerous technical and executive education certifications.

In this role, Eric will report functionally to Jan-Erik Rasanen, Energy Solutions Business Manager, Marine Energy Solutions and he will continue to have business reporting line to Audrey Brehm, VP Marine & Crane Services. Eric is based in Miramar, Florida.
