Maersk Enlists Tech Firm to Boost Transparency

Shipping giant A.P. Moller – Maersk has enlisted a cloud-based Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) solution provider to help make its data available to external parties and improve customer visibility.

Finland based Youredi, provider of a range of solutions related to big data, IoT and analytics, said it will work is to ensure that Maersk systems can be integrated to external platforms in an effective and cost-efficient manner, without a need to customize or change the existing systems in the ecosystem.
The provided connectivity will enable real-time information exchange automatically between supply chain partners and customers, thus improving the efficiency of processes and providing end-to-end visibility across the ecosystem.
“Our technology can help Maersk to rapidly connect with any participants within the value chain and share information in real-time,” said Jaakko Elovaara, chief executive officer of Youredi. “From the beginning, Youredi’s mission has been to support the digitization of the global supply chain to ultimately improve the efficiency and visibility of global trade.”
