Lock 3 Access Restricted in Welland Canal

The St. Lawrence Seaway issued a notice to mariners advising of conditions regarding ongoing construction and installation at Welland Canal's Lock 3 in support of its modernization project, including Hands Free Mooring equipment and infrastructure.

Mariners will not be allowed any type of interface including supplies, crew changes or technical personnel at lock 3 during the remainder of the 2014 navigation or until further notice.
