Kleven Maritime contracted by Remøy Shipping for the delivery of a LNG-powered platform supply vessel (PSV)

The vessel is to be built at Kleven Maritime’s shipyard Kleven Verft. Total contract value for Kleven is around 400 million NOK. In addition, the contract also includes an option for a further vessel of the same type.

The newbuild is of the VS 4412 DF PSV type from Wärtsila Ship Design Norway.

“We highly appreciate that Remøy Shipping has chosen Kleven Verft for their latest project,” said Ståle Rasmussen, CEO of Kleven Maritime."

“Competition has been really hard this time, and we chose Kleven Maritime because of their long experience and competence when it comes to building LNG powered vessels. That, combined with the good quality they deliver and competitive terms, was decisive,” said Per Gunnar Jarnes, Managing Director of Remøy Shipping.

Kleven Maritime say they now have 14 vessels on their order book, at a total value of 6.7 billion NOK.
