As of June 26, 2015, Klein Systems Group Ltd. has changed its name to Saab Technologies Ltd.
Klein Systems has been a wholly owned subsidiary of Saab AB since 2012. Saab is a $3.5 billion company serving the global market with world-leading products, services and solutions from military defense to civil security.
Being part of the Saab organization has given Klein access to Saab’s financial strength and international resources. It has also allowed the company to offer additional products and integration options, including VTS, communications, security, AIS and other related maritime technologies.
With this name change the company is fully adopting the Saab brand and presenting itself to customers, suppliers and market as a Saab company and a key member of the Saab Maritime Traffic Management product area. The company will continue to use the KleinPort and KleinPilot product names.
As Saab Technologies the company will continue to deliver software solutions for ports and pilotages from its office in Vancouver, Canada as it has done for over 30 years.  The same people and management team will continue to be focused on partnering with customers to help solve their business problems and make their operations more efficient.
