The Kiel Canal remains closed until further notice as the damaged vessel involved in a collision earlier in the week has not yet been stabilised in satisfactorily.

A decision as to whether the Canal can be opened for vessels up to a certain size will be taken tomorrow, October 31, at the earliest.
