Hiroshima head-quartered, Kanban Kisen Kaifu Co., Ltd. will strengthen its ship management business in Europe. The Norwegian branch of the overseas subsidiary Union Marine Management Services Pte. Ltd., will start business from 19th and will start ship management work from April 9th.

In Kanban Kisen, we decided to develop ship management business in Oslo, Norway, focusing on the fact that there are few management companies that provide technical management to third parties, mainly in local Northern European countries.
Kanbara Kisen's president Hiroki Kanbara said, "Our management style utilizing UMMS's proprietary "Intuit Ship" has attracted a great deal of attention, mainly from European shipping companies, and contracts from shipping companies other than ours and which has been steadily increasing.
"On the other hand, in the Northern Europe region, options other than leaving ship management tasks to a ship management company far away from Asia are limited. We will use the know-how of marine technicians experienced in vessels different from traditional controlled vessels such as tankers and cargo ships with extremely cold specifications and we will respond carefully to the needs of Nordic ship owners."
