Jindal Says BP, Coast Guard Response Inadequate

According to a May 23 report from The New York Times, Louisiana state and local officials repeatedly threatening to take matters into our own hands if the response to the Gulf of Mexico oil spill fell short. At a news conference, Gov. Bobby Jindal recited a timeline of his requests to BP and the Coast Guard for containment boom, skimmers and other supplies, saying that the resources were still far from adequate weeks later.
