Resource Power Group successfully completed the installation, commissioning, and warranty for three (3) MaK 12V32C medium speed diesel generator sets on board the USNS Howard O Lorenzen TAG-M 25 ship, constructed by VT Halter Marine.
Resource Power Group was selected by Caterpillar Defense & Federal Products to support this project for many reasons, including an ability to provide large-bore engine commissioning personnel, 24/7 technical support, and prompt service.
“Being the administrator for most contracts awarded by the U.S. Government, Caterpillar Defense & Federal Products depends on the Caterpillar Dealer network for all installation, commissioning, training and service (pre- and post-warranty) for all these projects. Resource Power Group performed this role for the T-AGM 25 vessel recently accepted by the US Navy. The work done by their service technicians was nothing short of excellent, as they provided a skilled, proactive approach to their work, which was appreciated not only by Caterpillar, but also by the shipyard which built the vessel and the US Navy.
