IBIA Forum to Examine Bunkering with New Fuels

The International Bunker Industry Association (IBIA) will be holding a forum entitled: ‘Bunkering with new fuels – Building on strong foundations’ as part of London International Shipping Week, on Wednesday 9 September.


The event will include presentations from Mark Bell from SGMF (Society for Gas as a Marine Fuel), Michael Green, Global Technical Manager for Intertek Lintec, Armelle Breneol EAME Marine Fuels Logistics Advisor for ExxonMobil, Vyacheslav Mischeko from Argus Media and Nigel Draffin maritime consultant and author.


The speakers will address the latest topical issues, in particular the availability of ECA compliant fuels, the quality of new fuels and their availability in Russia, recent developments in the LNG market, the availability of data which could help the sector, what to get and where to get it.  


The presentations will be followed by a panel question and answer session, chaired by Captain Peter Hall, Chief Executive of IBIA, and all of the delegates attending the event are all invited to a networking drinks reception after the Forum.


The IBIA forum is open to all marine fuels industry professionals, and will be held at the Baltic Exchange, London on Wednesday, September 9, 2015.
