Harkand Hires New Group General Counsel

International subsea inspection, repair, maintenance (IRM) and light construction company Harkand announced the appointment of Jacqueline Hill as the group general counsel.

Hill brings more than 15 years of experience in corporate law, most recently in energy marketing and trading in the U.K. She has been instrumental in advising senior management on corporate structure and governance issues during periods of negotiation and business expansion, including joint ventures, infrastructure accession agreements and day-to-day compliance issues.

In her previous role as general counsel at Gazprom Marketing & Trading Ltd., Hill also provided high level support to the board as well as leading a team of more than 30 legal and compliance staff to establish bases in the U.K., North America, Singapore, France, Italy and Belgium. She was also senior legal counsel at EDF Trading Ltd. and worked for private practices in London and Melbourne, Australia.
