Hamburg Süd Receives Volkswagen Group Award

Hamburg Süd has been awarded the Volkswagen Group Award 2017. With this award, the largest automotive corporation in the world honors its best suppliers, which stand out for their innovative strength, product quality, development competence, sustainability and professional project management.
A total of 19 national and international companies were recognized. Hamburg Süd received the award in the Global Champion category. Volkswagen particularly underlined the “outstanding service quality and customer orientation” and the “remarkable flexibility in numerous situations, for example during the production start-up of the new Audi plant in Mexico”.
The Volkswagen Group honored its best suppliers of the respective past year for the 15th time. The awards ceremony was held at “Motorwerk” in Berlin on June 29.
