VT Halter Announces Leadership Promotions

VT Halter Marine, Inc., the Pascagoula, Miss. based shipbuilding subsidiary of Vision Technologies Systems, Inc., today announced several promotions within its leadership team.
The shipbuilder named Richard A. Zubic (Rick Zubic) to Executive Vice President, Shipbuilding; Rob Mullins to Senior Vice President, Strategy and Estimating; Harry Bell to Vice President, Sales and Marketing; Pawan Agrawal to Vice President Repair; and Phil Adams joins the VT Halter Marine team as Senior Vice President.
“These professionals bring a wealth of knowledge, experience and dedication to our company. Their promotions reflect the confidence we have in their contribution and to our success here at VT Halter Marine,” said CEO Jack Prendergast.
Rick Zubic, Vice President, Sales and Marketing, has been promoted to Executive Vice President, Shipbuilding. Zubic has 19 years of service with VT Halter Marine and 42 years in the shipbuilding industry. His new responsibilities include sales, business development estimating and program management.
Rob Mullins, Vice President of Program Management and Estimating, has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Strategy and Estimating. Mullins is a second generation employee of VT Halter Marine shipyards and has more than 26 years of service.
After retiring with over 31 years of federal service, Phil Adams joins VT Halter Marine as Senior Vice President. Adams’ responsibilities include Chief Compliance Officer and Facility Security Officer.
Harry Bell, Director of Sales and Marketing for Repair and Conversion, has been promoted to Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Bell has more than 40 years in the shipbuilding and ship repair business, and has been with VT Halter Marine since March 2014.
Pawan Agrawal, Director Corporate Development has been promoted to Vice President of Repair. Agrawal has been in the marine industry for 25 years, of which he’s spent 20 years with VT Halter Marine and Its affiliate, ST Marine.
