Yves Barraquand has been appointed as the new CEO of control, instrumentation and electrical engineering specialist CMR Group.

Taking over from Pascal Fouache, who has led the Group since 1991, Barraquand, will lead an organization employing 650 people located across eight international operations, and with a sales revenue in excess of €60 million.
Barraquand brings managerial experience to the role, having held a number of senior positions in sales and marketing, as well as in the distribution and retail sector. Prior to joining CMR Group he was CEO of Winoa before heading-up Groupe Genoyer.
He is a graduate of Paris’s École Polytechnique and École Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Paris, and
also holds a post doctorate fellowship from Tokyo University.
Barraquand’s appointment comes as the company continues to move ahead to meet strong demand for its range of advanced precision-engineered engine, marine, oil and gas and industrial technologies. Investment is also being made in equipping the workforce with the skills and resources required to meet the demands of a global blue-chip customer base.
