Following the appointment of Chairman, John Pattullo and non-executive director Jesper Kjaedegaard on 9 March, V.Group has announced its decision to appoint a new CEO to start in Q4 2017.
This decision was taken jointly with Clive Richardson who has successfully led the company since 2009. He will be stepping down from the CEO role before the end of May and will be replaced by Hanne Sorensen who will act as interim CEO until a full time CEO takes over later this year. The search for a new CEO is well advanced and a further announcement in this regard will be made in due course.

Hanne Sorensen has over twenty years of experience in the shipping and wider logistics industry with Maersk, having served amongst other roles as CEO of Maersk Tankers and CEO of Damco. She brings extensive experience in operations and business transformation in the maritime sector and in her new position will help accelerate V.Group's change program following the investment in the company made recently by Advent International.
