Evergreen’s container vessel arrived in Rotterdam during its maiden voyage. Ever Glory called at the ECT Delta Zuid terminal at Amazonehaven in Rotterdam around noon on Thursday afternoon 13 June.

It is the shipping company’s first vessel in the 20,000 TEU class to be equipped with scrubbers, significantly reducing harmful emissions from the Ever Glory.

"To emphasise this environmentally-friendly measure, the outside of the vessel has been fully stowed with green Evergreen containers," pointed out a press release.

The Evergreen 20,000 TEU-type is a series of container ships of the shipping company Evergreen Marine , of which some ships are still under construction or intended to be.

The ships of the class, of which eleven are planned, were ordered in January 2015. Client is Shoei Kisen Kaisha , chartered to Evergreen Marine.
