General Dynamics Wins DLA Enterprise IT Contract

Company will deliver IT support services to the military, civilian agencies and foreign countries.

General Dynamics Information Technology, a business unit of General Dynamics, was awarded a contract to support the Defense Logistics Agency’s J6 Enterprise Technology Services program. The multiple award, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract has a ceiling value of approximately $6 billion for a five-year base period with three option years.
General Dynamics will provide network and telecommunications, IT solutions, sustainment and maintenance, enterprise data strategy, systems engineering, virtual workforce training, lifecycle management and IT program management support. Work will be performed in various locations worldwide including Columbus, Ohio; Battle Creek, Mich.; Kaiserslautern, Germany; New Cumberland, Pa.; Philadelphia; Honolulu; Fort Belvoir and Richmond, Va.; and Tracy, Calif.
“This contract win continues the long relationship between General Dynamics and DLA, the Department of Defense’s combat logistics support agency,” said Dan Busby, vice president and general manager of General Dynamics Information Technology’s IT Services and Solutions sector. “Our highly experienced team understands DLA’s mission and will identify, demonstrate, assess and integrate current and new technologies to solve their urgent requirements.”
For more than 20 years, General Dynamics has provided the DLA with enterprise communications solutions, services and logistical support. The company is a partner in supporting the U.S. Department of Defense and other federal agencies as a primary source of network and system engineering, installation, maintenance and logistical services to warfighters.
