Maritime specialist Flynn Refrigeration is growing its sales and warehouse workforce after making four new appointments.

Merseyside-based Flynn Refrigeration specializes in the global supply, installation, maintenance and conversion of refrigeration and air conditioning systems and parts. Its team is expanding with three new sales coordinators Emily Colwell, Mike Roger and Marc Terry while Andy Nelson has been appointed as warehouse assistant.
Flynn Refrigeration Account Director Carolyn Flynn said the new recruits come at an important time after experiencing increased volumes of orders and enquiries.
“We are making a number of strategic changes to our sales operation in a bid to manage a growing number of enquiries both quickly and efficiently,” said Mrs Flynn. “This has seen greater investment in manpower and experience to spread the workload. Emily, Mike and Marc bring a wealth of knowledge and customer service expertise, and will play a fundamental role in expanding the firm internationally.
“In addition, we have taken on another warehouse assistant to support the upturn in work from a dispatch and logistics perspective. Straight product supply remains our largest revenue stream, accounting for 80pc of total sales. We deal with thousands of individual items of stock supplying to more than 60 countries worldwide, with 15 international service partners.
“We have an expansive 7,500ft warehouse, which contains thousands of new and reconditioned components and felt extra resource was needed to maintain standards and drive greater efficiency. This widescale investment in skilled staff gives us greater capacity to service more enquiries, quotation and deliveries with quicker turnarounds to meet our 2016 targets.”
