Natalia A container ship that belongs to Turkish ARKAS shipping line is docked in Contship Ravenna – the Contship Italia Group gateway on the Adriatic Sea.

The Natalia A is deployed on the ADS service (Adriatic Service) that connects Ravenna with Istanbul, Gemlik, Piraeus, Izmir, Beirut, Mersin, Aleksandria and Lattakia, on a weekly basis.
“We are delighted to see that a shipping line such as Arkas has chosen the Ravenna Terminal as a partner to expand container traffic, offering fundamental connections with Turkey, Lebanon, Egypt, Greece and Syria” explain Giannantonio Mingozzi (President of the Terminal) and Riccardo Sabadini (President of Sapir).
Mingozzi and Sabadini continue, “the Terminal has just completed a major investment plan to strengthen operational capabilities, and today it can offer efficient loading and unloading operations along with effective intermodal connections. Contship Ravenna and Sapir are closely working together, constantly exploiting synergies to offer competitive services and to improve results in the container traffic industry – backed by the approval of the Port Hub project by the CIPE (Committee for Economic Programming), that will bring a new container terminal in the Trattaroli peninsula”.
Milena Fico, Contship Ravenna Director, explains that the Terminal will soon welcome Eugenio Domicolo, Arkas Italia General Manager, to discuss new opportunities that may arise from the new collaboration with the Terminal.
"We are happy to welcome Arkas Line and we see this as an opportunity to to develop our business and all our efforts in actively competing on the international container industry," Milena said.
