FESCO Transportation Group, the largest intermodal transport operator in Russia, and Polish rail operator PCC Intermodal S.A. agreed on developing services of expedited cargo delivery from Japan, South Korea and China to European countries and vice versa through the Far East and Trans-Siberian Railway.

The agreement of intent was signed during the Eastern Economic Forum.

Using their experience and expertise, the companies are going to work on increasing the volumes of transit cargo shipped with Trans-Siberian Landbridge service launched this summer, and to attract new customers (European in the first place) to the service.

In order to promote the service, FESCO and PCC Intermodal also agreed to conduct a series of business missions featuring participants from business community and government structures from the European Union, Russia, China, the Republic of Korea and Japan.

“Enhancing the partnership with PCC Intermodal will allow us to optimize transit goods and adapt them to the needs of European clients, expand the volume of transport operations to APAC countries and arrange shipping in the reverse direction for our clients as convenient as possible”, noted Aleksandrs Isurins, President of FESCO.

PCC Intermodal is one of the leading rail operators working on Polish and international transport market. The company provides intermodal container transport, door-to-door delivery in Poland, Germany, Belgium, The Czech Republic, Belarus, Russia and other countries.
