Inchcape Shipping Services (ISS), the world’s leading maritime and logistics service provider, has greatly expanded its European business with Team Tankers International with a new port agency contract across the region.
Under the new agreement with the chemical tanker specialist, ISS will provide port agency and vessel clearance services in all major European ports and terminals. Team Tankers International is one of the largest chemical tanker operators in the world, with a fleet of over 40 chemical tankers.
While ISS has been providing port agency for Team Tankers International since 2013, this new agreement will capitalise on ISS’ Europe-wide offices within its global network.
Says Jørgen-Ole Christensen, Senior Operations Manager, Team Tankers International: “We are very pleased with this extended agreement with ISS and we expect great benefits and a more streamlined service on the agency side.”
Adds Neill Tomlin, Chief Commercial Officer, ISS: “The new agreement will deliver simple, constant value to Team Tankers International across our European network. We’re looking forward to supporting Team Tankers as they expand.”
