Evaluating Alarmed Property Risks: IMUA Seminar

The Inland Marine Underwriters Association (IMUA is to hold a New York seminar covering key issues for underwriters.

The seminar will cover such topics as:
·         Recognizing risk profiles & security needs considering the operations, occupancy and physical characteristics of the location
·         Understanding the different alarm system options and their application to the various levels and types of risk
·         Communication issues: types of transmission systems/line security, monitoring facilities and response options
·         The role of testing/listing parties and certificated vs. non-certificated systems

In making the announcement IMUA President and CEO, Kevin O’Brien, noted: “"This important session will give underwriters the tools to assess criminal risk and evaluate the adequacy of the security system.  This seminar is a further example of our continuing commitment to the professional development for our members and the industry as a whole.”"

This in-depth analysis will take place on Thursday, February 21, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. with breakfast and registration beginning at 8:30 a.m. EST.  The cost is $90.00 per person or $75 per person as a remote distance learner.
