International cruise liner MS Europa 2 reached the Khorfakkan Port with more than 500 tourists on board.

The luxury liner is the latest making a cruise call at the emirate's east coast ports, which continue to bring in cruise tourists from around the globe.
MS Europa 2, managed by German company Hapag-Lloyd, is the winner of the coveted distinction of 5-stars-plus by the Berlitz Cruise Guide 2016.
Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority (SCTDA) organised traditional folk performances to welcome the cruise tourists on board MS Europa 2, and introduced them to Sharjah's rich cultural and tourism offerings.
The tourists were later taken on a tour around the city of Khorfakkan.
Sharjah aims to attract more than 28 cruise trips with 72,000 tourists during current season.
