Elliott Bay Design Group (EBDG), a naval architecture and marine engineering firm with offices in Seattle and New Orleans recently acquired new talent for both of its locations, helping to grow the company's presence and expand on its core services –marine engineering, naval architecture, shipyard services and analysis.

"We're pleased to welcome Joey, Michael, Luisa and Sam to EBDG," said President, Joe Pritting. "We are dedicated to continuing to grow the strength of our company, and our new hires will be tremendous assets in allowing us to keep moving forward and achieving our goals."

Naval Architects Michael LaRose and Samuel Waterhouse hold Bachelor of Science degrees in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the Webb Institute and completed internships with EBDG.  They will be working out of the company's Seattle headquarters.

Marine Designer Joseph Dupont and Naval Architect Luisa Malabet are graduates of the University of New Orleans, and will be working out of EBDG's Gulf Coast office in New Orleans.

EBDG has added approximately two new staff members per month since May, continuing a record of steady expansion.   Presently, EBDG employs roughly58 employees between its two offices with additional personal working out of Florida and Oregon.
