Dynamic Oil Trading, a global trading company for marine fuels and lubricants, announced the appointment of Nikita Miroshnik as a new bunker trader for its worldwide bunker trading team based in Singapore.
According to Dynamic Oil Trading, Nikita Miroshnik brings considerable experience of working with suppliers and buyers in the Russian bunker market, which it said will be critical for customers, as more ship owners and operators are using Russian ports to bunker due to favorable prices.
Prior to joining Dynamic Oil Trading Miroshnik worked for a marine fuel trader for two years across a number of Russian ports, including St Petersburg, Murmansk and Arkhangelsk, where his responsibilities included bunker trading, contract work and operational liaison for fuel deliveries. He was educated at Saint-Petersburg State Politechnical University.
Lars Møller, CEO, Dynamic Oil Trading, commented, “Nikita brings exactly the hands-on experience that we want at Dynamic Oil Trading, including a breadth of knowledge of the Russian bunker market, which is seeing significant growth, and will be of tremendous value to our customers.
Møller added, “As we approach Dynamic Oil Trading’s second anniversary, Nikita’s appointment exemplifies our continued growth, as we build a world-class team of bunkering professionals with in-depth knowledge of the world’s leading bunker markets. Although we expect the market to remain challenging for the remainder of this year and into 2015, I am confident that the experience and expertise of our team, coupled with our financial strength, will ensure that we continue to provide our customers with the right fuel products at the right prices, when and where they need them."
