Drydocks World Highlights Capabilities at Nor-Shipping

Drydocks World, provider of maritime and offshore services to the shipping, oil, gas and energy sectors, showcased its global services, projects and infrastructure to an international audience at the 50th Nor-Shipping Exhibition in Oslo from June 2-5, 2015. 

Drydocks World highlighted the UAE’s maritime position, disseminating information on the company’s capabilities and exploring future prospects in the Scandinavian market.  
Drydocks World noted it regularly participates at Nor-Shipping, one of Europe’s foremost maritime exhibitions, with the company servicing numerous Scandinavian clients such as Frontline, AP Moller- Maersk, Teekay Marine Services, Fred Olsen Marine Services, Golar Wilhelmsen Management, V-Ships Norway AS, Westfal-Larson Management, Hoegh Fleet Services, Western Geco AS, OSM Ship Management to name a few.
Drydocks World said it has this year experienced positive relations with the region and Norway in particular, having repaired eight vessels from many repeat Norwegian customers, and securing the contract from Kvaerner to carry out the fabrication of components on the Johan Sverdrup Riser Platform Jacket for end-user Statoil. 
Nor-Shipping posed as an excellent opportunity to network and engage with current and prospective clients, Drydocks World said, adding it met with ship management representatives, vessel owners and equipment manufacturers discussing the yards Global Offshore Services as well as Ship Repair capabilities and facilities.
