Disney Matcor’s Gulf Coast General Manager

Matcor, Inc., a cathodic protection and corrosion prevention engineering design firm, announced the appointment of Timothy Disney as General Manager of the Houston/Gulf Coast operations. Based out of Katy, Texas, Disney will report directly to Matcor’s President and CEO Jeffrey Stello.

Disney will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Katy office, managing sales, engineering, service delivery and project management needs. Disney is a NACE Certified Corrosion Specialist and Cathodic Protection Specialist with more than 20 years experience in the corrosion and cathodic protection field. With an extensive background in project management, Disney has spent the past four years promoting and implementing integrity management software and services to the pipeline industry. Disney’s expertise in customer service, technical reporting, problem solving , proactive decision-making, budget planning, supervision and business development will be valuable assets to Matcor as it continues to grow its Houston/Gulf Coast operations. At Williams Pipeline Company, Disney directed the corrosion control program, and at Schmoldt Engineering, directed the corrosion and cathodic protection programs for a number of well-known operating companies. He received a bachelor’s degree in Physics from Kent State University and is a member of the Geographical Information Technology Association (GITA), previously serving as president of the Oklahoma chapter.
