EdgeTech welcomes John DeMille for sales, service and support in search and recovery (SAR) side scan sonars

John DeMille has joined EdgeTech as Product Line Sales Engineer.
DeMille has over 40 years in the marine industry and is well known by police, fire, public safety dive teams and other dedicated SAR teams at the local and federal level throughout the country, having provided training, service and sales support on side scan sonar systems and other important equipment for the industry. DeMille spent 20 years as a U.S. Navy Sea Bee Deep Sea Diver serving with the U.S. Navy underwater construction teams and then went on to work as a project superintendent installing marine transatlantic communication cables. Most recently, DeMille worked with Marine Sonic Technology where he was heavily involved with the side scan sonar product line.
DeMille’s role with EdgeTech will remain focused on the SAR customers and the EdgeTech 4125 Systems, designed specifically for the SAR market as a rugged, portable, easy-to-use system that provides ultra-high resolution underwater imagery. In the past six years since its release, the products’ popularity has grown in the shallow water survey and SAR market. The 4125 utilizes EdgeTech’s Full Spectrum CHIRP technology, which provides higher resolution imagery at ranges sometimes up to 50 percent greater than other systems.
