Dachser USA Launches New LCL Service to China

Dachser USA Air & Sea Logistics  announced that shippers looking for direct access to China can now take advantage of a new weekly LCL service to Shanghai.
 
The LCL (less-than-container-load) service offering provides a solution covering consolidation services for 36 states across the United States out of Dachser’s Chicago location, further strengthening offerings to the Asia Pacific region.
 
“Customers using our new LCL service will experience shorter transit times, faster cargo availability at the final destination and increased supply chain visibility and predictability,” said Frank Guenzerodt, President & CEO of Dachser USA.
 
“This service offers customers streamlined coordination and management of all sea freight exports deployed on first class carriers to Asia,” added Guenzerodt. “Our direct transport system and routing ensures reliable shipments with enhanced flexibility and competitive pricing.”
 
Dachser consolidates shipments from various departure points throughout the United States, ensuring the best possible connection to customers final cargo destination. From New York, Boston or Atlanta, Dachser USA now connects all the major U.S. trading centers to Asia’s largest ports on a weekly basis.

The new service adds to Dachser’s already existing LCL service offerings and wide range of rapidly growing destinations. Dachser allows customers a greater flexibility and choice by continuing to increase the number of destinations served. The new service is direct sailing, with door-to-door delivery services also available, integrated supply chain services and Dachser offices at origin and destination to assure the same high levels of customer service.
