Cruise: RCI Returns to Port NOLA

Royal Caribbean International returned to the Port of New Orleans (Port NOLA) when the Vision of the Seas homeported at the Julia Street Cruise Terminal for its inaugural cruise Dec. 15, 2018.  

The 2,514-passenger ship will sail seasonal, seven-night itineraries from Port NOLA to culture rich destinations across the Bahamas, Caribbean and Yucatan Peninsula through March 2019.

Vision of the Seas touts VOOM, the fastest internet at sea, coupled with entertainment for every mood, from an outdoor screen for movies under the stars to Broadway-style musical revues in the main theater and aerial acrobatics shows that comes to life in the multi-story Centrum in the heart of the ship. With more than 15 restaurants and bars across the 12 decks, guests can experience a variety of flavors morning, noon and night at Royal Caribbean’s most popular restaurants, including Izumi Asian Cuisine, Chops Grille, Giovanni’s Table and Park Café. The 915-foot vessel was revitalized in 2013 and features 12 total decks, 234 staterooms with balconies and eight pools and whirlpools.
