>Kinsella, a native of Allentown, Pa., majored in logistics and intermodal transportation and served as the 1st Batallion executive officer, responsible for the day-to-day workings of the battalion. During his time at the academy, Kinsella was also president and captain of the Kings Point rugby football club and a member of the emergency medical service squad, where he earned an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification. Kinsella graduated with a 3.28 grade-point average (GPA).>
>After graduation, Kinsella will take a commission as an ensign in the U.S. Coast Guard and will be assigned to the cutter Waesche, the newest of the high-endurance national security cutters.>
