ATP Instone, part of the ATPI Group, a specialist division dedicated to powering travel management for the offshore and energy sectors, has appointed Lynn Coutts as head of energy sales for Aberdeen.

Coutts has been part of the ATPI Group for two and a half years, previously as an account manager. In a career spanning over 12 years, she has held a number of travel management roles including director of sales for Millennium and Copthorne Hotels, and director of sales for FCM Travel, before joining the ATPI Group in 2012.
In her new role, Coutts will be responsible for driving growth across the sector and raising awareness of the group’s expertise, service offering and specialist technology to both existing and new clients. Key areas of focus include developing travel management programs and policies for clients with a strong focus on duty of care.
Commenting on her appointment Coutts said, “A key part of my new role will be to reaffirm ATP Instone’s role as a true travel partner to both existing and prospective clients and ensure there is a clear understanding of the breadth of our services. Particularly for the offshore and energy sector where there is increasing demand for programmes that are more cost effective and efficient.”
Adam Knights, UK Managing Director, the ATPI Group, added, “Following our acquisition of Griffin at the end of last year, Lynn takes on this new role at an exciting time as we look to develop our global operation in key regions for the energy, offshore and shipping industry. Aberdeen and the North Sea continue to be an important market for us and we’re confident that Lynn has the expertise and experience to develop new opportunities for our clients.”
