Corporate Promotions at Rickmers-Linie

Ulrich Ulrichs, Chief Operating Officer of Rickmers-Linie has been promoted to Chief Executive Officer of the heavy lift and project cargo liner service specialist, with effect from May 1, 2014. In this context Rüdiger Gerhardt has passed on the role of Global Head of Rickmers-Linie to Ulrichs. In his new position, Ulrichs will continue to work closely with Gerhardt, who at the same time was appointed Chief Administrative Officer of the company.

Ulrichs has more than 15 years of experience in the shipping and break bulk business. He joined Rickmers-Linie in 2005 when he became responsible as General Manager Line Management, becoming a Director in 2008. On July 1, 2011, Ulrichs was appointed Deputy Managing Director of Rickmers-Linie and became Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director in July 2012.

Rüdiger Gerhardt has been with Rickmers-Linie since 1978 and since 1992 has been responsible for Finance, Personnel and Administration for the company. On July 1, 2011 he was appointed Managing Director and Global Head of Rickmers-Linie. As Chief Administrative Officer he will continue to develop the structure and organization of the company.
