ClassNK Changes in Executive Board

Japanese ship classification society Nippon Kaiji Kyokai (ClassNK) has announced the following changes in its Executive Board of Directors effective 1 March 2010. Executive Vice President Tateo Kaji and Managing Director Fumio Imakita have retired, resulting in two new appointments to the board.

New Executive Board of Directors
Chairman and President    Mr. Noboru Ueda (unchanged)
Executive Vice President    Dr. Hiroshige Kitada (unchanged)
Executive Vice President    Mr. Toshitomo Matsui (previously Managing Director)
Managing Director    Mr. Shosuke Kakubari (unchanged)
Managing Director    Mr. Koichi Fujiwara (newly appointed)
Managing Director    Dr. Takuya Yoneya (unchanged)
Managing Director    Mr. Yasushi Nakamura (newly appointed)

Mr. Kaji and Mr. Imakita will remain with the Society in the role of Advisors to the Society.
