CMA CGM's NEW CIMEX 2E Links Asia to Chennai

 CMA CGM has announced its participation in the new consortium "NEW CIMEX 2E" linking Asia to Chennai (India East Coast) through a Vessel Sharing Agreement starting as from Mid-December 2016.

This new service is to replace former CIMEX 2E that used to be operated through a slot charter agreement (last departure on m/v SIMA GENESIS voy. 1638OW, ETA Pusan on January 14th, 2017 and ETA Shanghai on January 17th, 2017).
Starting with m/v BALTIMORE BRIDGE voy. 01S8OW, ETA Pusan December 15th, 2016, NEW CIMEX 2E will have the following features: 
Rotation : Pusan - Qingdao - Shanghai - Shekou - Singapore - Port Kelang WP - Chennai - Port Kelang - Singapore - Manila - Pusan
Direct E/B call in Manila offering new opportunities to our customers
Transit times : Chennai will be reached in 17 days from Pusan, 15 days from Qingdao, 13 days from Shanghai
By integrating this upgraded service linking Asia base ports to Chennai (India East Coast), CMA CGM group is providing an enhanced coverage in the Region on this growing market with fastest transit times on the Trade.
