Chembulk Tankers Hires Two SVPs

Arthur “Art” Allen and Stuart Peerless have joined the Chembulk Southport and Singapore teams respectively in the positions of Senior Vice President of Trading – West and Senior Vice President of Trading - East. The two will be responsible for oversite of fleet allocation, chartering and client relationships in their respective hemispheres reporting directly to Chief Commercial Officer Steve Laino.

Allen, a chemical tanker trader with nearly two decades of experience both at sea and ashore in commercial and operational roles, was most recently Vice President of Chartering at Fairfield Chemical Carriers.

Peerless, a veteran of the Asian markets, has three decades’ experience in the commercial trading side of the chemical tanker business. he was most recently the Managing Director of the Fairfield Chemical Carriers Singapore office and previously held management-level positions with other owners and brokerage shops in Singapore and abroad.
