SC-integrity, Inc. (LoJack SCI) and Contguard Ltd. announced a strategic alliance designed to provide their customers with security and real-time visibility of supply chain assets and cargo on a global basis.

LoJack SCI will exclusively offer the Contguard CMU (Cargo Monitoring Unit) service for the North American market. Working together, LoJack SCI, with its SC iOn Command Center web-based user portal and 24/7 monitoring center specialists, and Contguard, with its unique container tracking solution, will provide a seamless and multilayered protection for securing container shipments worldwide, on the road, across the ocean, or at port.

LoJack SCI, a subsidiary of LoJack Corporation, is a developer covert cargo tracking and monitoring for visibility, protection and security. Integrating the Contguard CMU container tracking service with the SC iOn Command Center will provide shippers, carriers and 3PLs the ability to meet stringent standards to ensure compliance and security, as containers ship worldwide through customs.

"LoJack SCI has taken a stance to lead the industry with offering simple to implement protection and visibility to meet best security practices. With the Contguard alliance, we have taken the next logical step in extending per trip service on a global basis. Whether across the U.S. or across the world, our clients' shipments will not be burdened with the complexity of securing and managing their shipments with an expensive purchased tracking unit program. Our integrated service will meet Tier 3 C-TPAT requirements, enabling our clients to be eligible for FAST lanes (where available), reduced risk scores, and fewer security examinations," stated Ted Wlazlowski, CEO and President, SC-integrity, Inc.

Contguard's Global Operations Network provides a team capable of deploying and retrieving their CMU virtually anywhere in the world. "Our customers rely on Contguard to manage their container protection process – start to finish. Our technology is solid, and our global partners handle the difficult logistics issues. Now, with our partnership with LoJack SCI, we will expand our visibility and coverage, while strengthening response significantly," said David Minsky, Contguard's Business Development Director.

The companies plan to take advantage of their respective geographic strengths in the Americas, Europe, and Middle East, while enhancing their alliance with future market and solution programs.
