Bunker Holding Appoints Chief Sales Officer

Bunker Holding, the parent company of a group of bunker companies worldwide, has appointed Jan Obel as Chief Sales Officer as of September 1, 2014. Jan will principally be based in London but also work from the company’s headquarters in Middelfart, Denmark, as well as travelling to key strategic clients worldwide.
 

The Chief Sales Officer position is a newly created function within Bunker Holding which will be overall responsible for new business development in Bunker Holding with primary focus on the development of large strategic customers, marine lubricants and new strategic business development projects. Jan Obel was the natural choice as he has successfully been working with strategic sales prior to joining Bunker Holding and has a strong track record in developing and managing a successful global bunker company.

During Jan’s latest experience as CEO of the KPI Bridge Oil Group for more than six years, he gained thorough knowledge and experience within all aspects of the bunker business, which we as well as our other subsidiaries can now benefit from. Jan additionally brings a wealth of experience from previous international sales and management positions.”
