Braemar Shipping Services announced the appointment of Ronald Series as its Non-Executive Chairman with effect from today.
Series will also chair the Company’s Nomination Committee. He succeeds David Moorhouse CBE, who retired from the Board with effect from April 14, 2019.
Series, a chartered accountant, has a strong track record of leading businesses in a variety of sectors and significant experience with international companies. He is currently the Executive Chairman of DX (Group) plc, the deliveries and logistics company, and until recently was the Senior Independent Director of Clipper Logistics plc. He has previously held senior management positions at Lonmin plc, the platinum group metals producer, Viridian Group Limited, the energy company, and Dubai World, the global investment company.
Listing Rule 9.6.13 disclosures
Series was a director of Netfold Limited when it was placed into administration on August 22,2008. Otherwise, except as set out above, Braemar confirms that there are no disclosures to be made in respect of Series for the purposes of Listing Rule 9.6.13.
